The 2026 "Juntai Cup" Poly Cultural Tourism National golf Championship will take place from May 5 to 10 at Chongqing Poly Golf Club. As one of China’s most influential golf events, it has become a key platform to showcase the country’s overall competitive strength and youth development.

This year’s tournament features 44 teams from 25 units nationwide, with more than 160 athletes competing. The lineup includes experienced professionals, rising young stars and promising juniors, bringing together traditional strong teams and the host Chongqing side.

In the 2025 National Championship, Zhejiang won the men’s team title and Guangdong claimed the women’s team championship. As teams enter a new National Games cycle, they will use this event to test their preparations, adjust lineups and build team chemistry for future major competitions.

Several top players will highlight the tournament. Chai Bowen of Sichuan, men’s individual silver medalist at the 15th National Games, recently won his first professional title. Host favorite Kuang Yang of Chongqing, gold medalist at the 15th National Games, will compete on home soil with high expectations.
